At the Alabino training ground in the Moscow region, ZVO tankers conducted live firing using a new method.

The main feature of the lesson was the stage of live firing, in which the crews of the newest T-72B3 tanks performed the entire range of tactical and fire exercises in one run. For the first time in one exercise, a target environment was created, providing for firing from all types of weapons of combat vehicles in all possible ways – on the move, from a place, with gentle stops, from shelters and with a maneuver to a reserve position at night.

The factor of tracking and detection from the air by unmanned aerial vehicles of a simulated enemy was also taken into account, in connection with which the requirements for maneuvering races and covert movement of tanks were increased.

In addition, the number of targets and the maximum range to them were increased from 2.2 thousand to 2.5 thousand meters. When performing training tasks, the crew does not know from which side and at what distance the next target will appear.

More than 100 servicemen of tank units of the ZVO association were involved in the classes, over 30 units of military equipment were involved.
