The squadron of the Mi-8AMTSh transport-combat “Terminators” ensured an operational landing of tactical assault forces on a strategically advantageous line behind the contingent enemy lines. At the same time, the main forces of the battalion tactical group launched a counterattack using reconnaissance and fire complexes. The training battle involved T-72B3 tanks, BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles, multiple launch rocket systems and artillery pieces.
