The IV All-Russian competition in marine robotics “Eastern Breeze-2021” is being held in Vladivostok on the basis of the Water Station of the CSKA Maritime and Physical Training Sports Center. EMERCOM of Russia is represented at this event by the team of the Center for High Risk Rescue Operations “Leader” of EMERCOM of Russia.

The competition is attended by unmanned boats, remote-controlled, as well as autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles. They demonstrate the capabilities of the technique in reaching a given point with high accuracy, conducting underwater search, technical work and overcoming an obstacle course.

Members of the EMERCOM of Russia team are full-time divers of the department of rescuers and paratroopers. Competitors do not specifically prepare for the event. Their experience is enough, since robots are used very often in their work.

“Our team participates in the“ A ”class – small robots. We brought with us the Russian Rovbilder-600 apparatus. In 2016, a huge amount of work was done to find a robot suitable for our tasks. Of all the models reviewed, this sample fully met our requirements for working functionality. The camera, which is installed on it, gives a complete picture of what happened under the water, so that the operator can later make the right decision to implement the task. This copy was used in search work during the crash of the Tu-154 aircraft in Sochi, searching on the Syam Lake. The extreme use of this apparatus was in Kaliningrad during a helicopter crash, ”said Maxim Chernyaev, a representative of the Leader Center.

23 teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Defense, the Russian National Guard, as well as developers, institutes, academies, from all over the country, who produce and supply unmanned unmanned underwater vehicles, are participating in the competition, which runs from September 21 to 25.

For reference: Russian apparatus “Rovbilder-600”: its main purpose is to carry out prospecting, observation, as well as small underwater technical works. This device has a main manipulator – a hand that makes grips and can deliver various elements. With attachments, the weight of the device is about 27 kilograms, it can be operated from small floating devices. The maximum immersion depth of the device is up to 200 meters. The robot has three speeds: slow, medium and very fast. The maximum speed that he can develop is 2.5 m / s. Also, the device is equipped with two cameras, color and black and white. A black and white camera is more convenient for working in areas with poor visibility. The robot is equipped with an all-round sonar and has 6 motors: 2 vertical, which allow you to control up and down, and 4 horizontal, so that it can move in any direction in the plane.
