In Vladivostok, in accordance with the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, the autumn stage of the Spartakiad of the Navy took place, within the framework of which competitions in rowing and sailing sports were held.

More than 100 servicemen from 14 national teams of the Northern, Pacific, Black Sea, Baltic fleets, the Caspian Flotilla and naval educational institutions competed in rowing, rowing and sailing, sailing races and long-distance sports during 10 competitive days.

As Vice-Admiral Vladimir Kasatonov, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, noted at the closing ceremony, “these competitions are held as part of the Navy’s Spartakiad, which includes 13 sports. During the year, sports teams of the Navy competed in the cities of St. Petersburg, Severodvinsk, Kaliningrad, Sevastopol in such sports as army hand-to-hand combat, winter officer triathlon, kettlebell lifting, swimming, shooting from standard or service weapons, and here in Vladivostok competitions in rowing and sailing sports were held ”.

According to the results of the competitions, 14 people fulfilled the standard of the master of sports of Russia, 29 people – the standard of a candidate for master of sports of Russia and 14 people – the first sports category.

As a result of the eleven types of the Spartakiad program, the sports team of the VUNC of the Navy “Naval Academy” is in the lead. The Black Sea Higher Naval School is in second place and the sports team of the Northern Fleet closes the top three.

Concluding his speech, Vice-Admiral Vladimir Kasatonov, on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov and the Navy Sports Committee, congratulated all the participants on the completion of the competition and wished them a fair fight and beautiful victories at the championship of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in rowing and rowing and sailing nordic event, which started in the water area of ​​the Amur Bay.

In the period from 4 to 10 October in Sevastopol, the Navy championships will be held in the two final types of the Spartakiad program – military pentathlon and summer officer triathlon, where all sports teams have the opportunity to change the results and compete for prizes in the Navy Spartakiad.
