In total, starting in July 2020, the winners of the Million Prizes program have donated over 60 million rubles to charity.
Participants of the electronic voting who won the #ChooseAbout campaign together with the Million Prizes program donated about 22 million rubles to charity. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of which the program was organized.
Alexander Pischelko, head of the New Management Technologies State Institution, added that over the entire period of the Million Prizes program, starting in July 2020, Muscovites have transferred more than 60 million rubles to charity in partner funds.
“Based on the experience of the previous campaign, we see that it significantly stimulates the townspeople to support charitable foundations: many winners donate their winnings for good deeds. Today, participants in all four campaigns of the Million Prizes program donated almost 62 million rubles to charity, ”said the head of the institution.
The most popular fund among Muscovites is Doctor Lisa’s Fair Help. More than 10 million rubles were transferred to him. The second and third places are taken by the Kotodetki and Nika charitable foundations to help homeless animals. They received 8.7 million rubles and four million rubles from the winners, respectively.
“For our organization, the support received from the participants in the Million Prizes program was a great help. In a difficult, pandemic year, requests for help from single pensioners, disabled people, and large families living in Moscow have increased. On a regular basis, we were able to provide food assistance to more than a hundred of these families. In addition, our charitable organization satisfied requests for help in purchasing medicines. This work was carried out within the framework of the Fair Aid 2.0 program ”, – emphasized Olga Rustamova, Executive Director of the international charitable public organization“ Fair Aid Doctor Lisa ”.
She also noted that thanks to the support of Muscovites, the work of the charitable program “Help to seriously ill and wounded children” continues. Hundreds of children were able to receive timely medical assistance. Humanitarian aid was organized and delivered to medical and social institutions.
Representatives of the business community and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry proposed the drawing of the Million Prizes program among the electronic voting participants. The action was joined by well-known retail chains, restaurants, bars, cafes, developers and car manufacturers, as well as 50 charitable foundations that help homeless people, large families, sick children, people with disabilities, veterans, homeless animals, and also promote cultural projects …
Within the framework of the “Million Prizes” campaign, 21 apartments and 100 cars were drawn, as well as 250 thousand prizes in denominations of 10 thousand, 25 thousand, 50 thousand and 100 thousand points (one point is equal to one ruble).
