In the Nizhny Novgorod region, at the Mulino training ground, as part of a camp gathering with servicemen of a separate artillery brigade of the Guards Tank Red Banner Army of the Western Military District (ZVO), artillerymen used Aistenok portable radar reconnaissance and control systems.

With their help, the servicemen found the firing positions of the mock enemy’s mortar batteries 3 km from the firing line. Then, using the intelligence they received, they struck with 120mm 2S12 Sani mortars.

Also “Aistenok” made it possible to control the flight of mines using antennas with electronic switching of beams in azimuth and angle.

In total, about 250 servicemen took part in the live firing, over 60 units of weapons, military and special equipment were involved.
