The monument to constructivism is located on Prud-Klyuchiki street.

In Dangauerovka, a major overhaul of the facade of the house – a monument to constructivism – has been completed. It is located on Prud-Klyuchiki street (building 3). This building can be seen in the film “I am twenty years old” directed by Marlen Khutsiev. It was here, according to the script, that the main character, Sergei Zhuravlev, lived.

The facade of the house is made of bricks. In the process of work, it was thoroughly cleaned out. Daughter was carried out and the replacement of single bricks, which had fallen into disrepair during the operation, was carried out. The entire facade was then treated with an antifungal agent that will protect the walls of the building from mold and decay. Each joint was trowelled. The final stage was painting in two layers. The composition used is characterized by increased resistance to any weather conditions.

Dangauerkovka is a residential neighborhood on the territory of Lefortovo, which in 1928 was conceived as a workers’ settlement. It was assumed that it will be home to 45 thousand people. It got its name in honor of the German entrepreneur Heinrich Karl Dangauer, who back in 1869 founded a boiler and foundry (today the Compressor plant).

The workers’ settlement was designed by the architects of the Sokstroy construction bureau under the leadership of Mikhail Motylev. If the plan had then been fully implemented, it would have been the largest residential complex in the country, with everything you need for autonomous living – from a bathhouse to a school. 24 houses have survived to this day, 12 of which are cultural heritage sites.

In total, 383 objects of cultural heritage were included in the program of the Fund for the Capital Repair of Moscow Apartment Buildings. Work on each one requires an individual approach and more thorough preparation. The task of specialists is to preserve the pristine beauty and architectural features of buildings as much as possible. All organizations participating in the work are licensed by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, which guarantees the involvement of certified specialists.

Today in the capital, major repairs are being carried out in 114 residential buildings-monuments, in 14 of which – with restoration.
