Guard Private Konstantin Opolsky (up to 60 kg) reached the final due to the refusal of the boxer from Azerbaijan Taufur Aliyev to go to the semifinal match.

Unfortunately, Warrant Officer Volodya Mnatsakanyan (up to 49 kg) lost by a split decision (2: 3) to Temirtas Zhusupov from Kazakhstan.

Private Ivan Stupin (up to 69 kg) defeated Abdulridkh Karavi Haider from Iraq by unanimous decision.

Private Alexei Semykin (up to 75 kg) defeated the Korean Park Jihun by unanimous decision of the judges.

Ensign Rajab Radjabov (up to 81 kg) also defeated Bilawal Zia from Pakistan by unanimous decision.

The representative of the team of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Guard Senior Lieutenant Ivan Sagaidak (up to 91 kg) defeated the Syrian Al Aldin Gawson by a split decision (3: 2).

Cadet Svyatoslav Teterin (over 91 kg) defeated Iman Ramezanpur Delawar from Iran by a split decision (4: 1).

Winners in all 15 weight categories – five for women and 10 for men – will be determined today, September 25th.
