In the Moscow region, at the Golovenki training ground, servicemen of the Kantemirovskaya tank division of the Red Banner Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District (ZVO), as part of the electronic warfare (EW) units, conducted classes on working on new military equipment to suppress radio-controlled landmines.

In the course of special training, servicemen on the new electronic warfare complex Borisoglebsk-2, Infauna and Samarkand-U made a march over 30 kilometers, fulfilling the standards for the deployment of modern electronic warfare systems and stations, and also worked out tasks for detection, direction finding and analysis of signals of radio emission sources.

Also, the specialists fulfilled the standards for the deployment of electronic warfare systems and their camouflage, organized security and defense, and carried out the suppression of signals from radio-controlled landmines and mines.

More than 500 servicemen and more than 100 units of weapons, military and special equipment of the electronic warfare units of the Kantemirovskaya tank division of the ZVO tank association took part in special classes.
