At the school of cooks of the Western Military District, stationed in the Moscow region, under the guidance of experienced military instructors of the food service, practical classes on special training with cooks and bakers in cooking and baking bread are conducted.
Military personnel comprehend the nuances and subtleties of one of the most peaceful military specialties. During their studies, they study the technology of cooking, the norms for the output of ready-made dishes, side dishes and much more.
Also, future chefs study the purpose, structure and procedure for working on technical means of cooking. The course of training a military cook includes the development of practically all the technical means of food service available on the allowance in the troops.
The cadets began practical exercises in the field, in the kitchens KP-130, KP-125, KO-75, KP-30, KP-20, MK-10 and on the plates PP-40. Military bakers learn to work at bakeries PCB-04, KhP-04, PMH.
During the summer period of study at the school of cooks, more than 450 cadets study, including 150 bakers and more than 300 cooks. After passing the final exams, they will be assigned the appropriate specialty and issued certificates. In the future, servicemen will continue to serve not only in formations and military units of the Western Military District, but also in other military districts.
