Russian servicemen conducted an excursion for schoolchildren at the joint Russian military base in Kant. The excursion was conducted jointly with the rector of the garrison church in honor of St. Prince Alexander Nevsky.

The children were shown a military town and the way of life of servicemen. The young guests of the excursion were especially interested in the equipment used by the Russian troops. The children were happy to ask about why such serious and formidable vehicles were needed, and also took pictures inside the special transport. The servicemen of the Russian military base told the children about the specifics of their service, reminded them of the importance and need to defend their Fatherland.

In addition, the children were shown the garrison church, where the students learned about who the building was erected in, and the rector also told interesting facts from the life of Prince Alexander Nevsky. Also, the rector of the church told the children about the structure of the church building and the purpose of its construction on the territory of the military unit.
