In the Voronezh Region, servicemen of the combined arms army of the Western Military District (ZVO) are undergoing revaccination against coronavirus infection COVID-19.

The repeated procedure involves military personnel and their family members who have completed a full course of vaccination by March 2021. Before the introduction of the first and second components of the Sputnik-V vaccine, servicemen are given all restrictions and contraindications, as well as recommendations for maintaining immunity.

Pre-vaccinated persons undergo a mandatory medical examination, and after the introduction of the vaccine, they are for about 30 minutes under the supervision of the on-duty group.

In total, in the Western Military District, over 63 thousand people were revaccinated with the first component, about 54 thousand servicemen and their families received the second component. More than 8,400 components of the Sputnik-V vaccine have been additionally delivered to the ZVO troops.
