In the Tver Suvorov Military School, the pupils met with the pilot-cosmonaut, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General of Aviation Vladimir Dzhanibekov.

Vladimir Dzhanibekov – pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR, made five space flights of which all five flights were the commander of the spacecraft Soyuz-27, Soyuz-39, Soyuz T-6, Soyuz T-12, Soyuz T -13″. The total duration of the flights was 145 days 15 hours 58 minutes 35 seconds, and the total duration of the two spacewalks was 8 hours 34 minutes.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Suvorovites were shown a small video from the life of Vladimir Alexandrovich, which consisted of personal archival photographs and videos. After that, he himself told about his childhood, that he was also a Suvorov soldier, a graduate of the Tashkent Suvorov military school in 1960. About the years when he dreamed of conquering space and how he achieved his goals.

After the story, the Suvorovites asked questions they were interested in about space, what sensations a person experiences when he is there, what he feels after returning, and so on. Each pupil wanted to ask his question to Vladimir Dzhanibekov and everyone received an answer to them.

At the end of the conversation, Vladimir Dzhanibekov left a memorable inscription in the book of honorary guests of the school, and the Suvorovites gave him memorable gifts with gratitude from the meeting.
