The tree can be planted in honor of the birth of a child who was born after January 1, 2019. To take part in the promotion, you need to fill out an application form on mos.ru.

Since the beginning of autumn, the participants of the Our Tree project have planted more than four thousand named trees in Moscow parks. In total, it is planned to plant 8.5 thousand trees by the end of the season.

“The family-ecological project“ Our Tree ”appeared several years ago and in a short time has become one of the most popular urban projects. Thanks to this action, every Muscovite can especially celebrate the happiest event in the life of a family – the birth of a child, and young residents of the capital receive a unique gift – their own personal tree, ”said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Utilities and Improvement

Peter Biryukov

The project “Our Tree” began to be implemented in 2019. Over the past two years, at the request of residents, more than seven thousand trees have appeared in 27 park areas of the capital.

The tree can be planted in honor of the birth of a child who was born after January 1, 2019. It is necessary to send an application before the baby turns three years old. This can be done by one of the parents who has a permanent registration in Moscow. You can choose the type of tree and the planting zone on mos.ru… The list of sites will appear on an interactive map, here the user will see the available tree species.

10-15-year-old seedlings of deciduous and coniferous trees are being prepared for the project. Among them are small-leaved linden, common pine, pedunculate oak, domestic apple, mountain ash, Norway maple, fruit pear, white willow and common spruce.

The service provides a large selection of natural areas for disembarkation. These are the Kuzminki-Lyublino forest park, Biryulevsky, Zhulebinsky, Kryukovsky, Kurkinsky forest parks, Aleshkinsky forest, Dolgie Prudy park and others. In each of them, users are given several landing sites to choose from. After choosing a tree and park, the user needs to fill out an electronic application. It takes no more than a minute – enough information about the child and one of the parents. The response to the application will come within seven working days.

10 days before the estimated date project participants will receive an invitation to disembark with the exact time and place. And within a month after this event, parents will be sent an electronic certificate of the named tree with its exact coordinates to their personal account on mos.ru.

The project is supervised by Department of Information Technology and Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection

Muscovites have submitted over eight thousand applications for participation in the project “Our Tree” this fall
