The flagship of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet), the Guards Order of Nakhimov, the Varyag missile cruiser (GRKR) and the Omsk nuclear submarine missile cruiser (APRK), conducted joint missile firing of cruise missiles at a sea target in the Pacific Ocean during a planned exercise.

The simulated enemy ship was designated the target ship.

As part of the exercise, the Varyag guards missile cruiser launched the Vulcan cruise missile, and the Omsk submarine crew fired the Granit anti-ship cruise missile.

According to objective control data, both missiles successfully hit a target located at a distance of over 450 kilometers.

The safety of the combat exercise and the closure of the firing area was ensured by about 12 ships and support vessels of the Pacific Fleet. For objective control of the results of the firing, naval aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles were involved.
