14 teams of cadets of the Pskov branch of the Academy of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia took part in the “What? Where? When? ”, Which was organized within the framework of the All-Russian action“ The Roads of Redemption ”and dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the writer F.M. Dostoevsky.

In the course of the intellectual game, connoisseurs of the life and work of Dostoevsky had to recall the heroes of his works “The Brothers Karamazov”, “Crime and Punishment”, “Demons”, “Notes from the House of the Dead”, “The Gambler”, “Poor People”, the history of the writer’s relationship with his contemporaries and other interesting facts from the biography.

– The cadets showed an interesting game thanks to their good preparation for the tournament, before which they had to very carefully reread the works of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. And it’s no secret that some of the master’s creations have become a real discovery for some players. The intellectual tournament, like all the events of the All-Russian action “The Roads of Redemption”, has an educational mission, enriches its participants not only with knowledge, but also spiritually improves them, ”noted Roman Ivanyakov, head of the department of state and legal disciplines of the Pskov branch of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service Academy, university club.

The results of the tournament will be announced on October 5 at a solemn event, which will conclude the All-Russian action “Roads of Atonement”, which started on September 27. Its participants are employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and Moscow State University. M.V.
