In the Krasnodar Territory, at the training ground of the Southern Military District (YuVO), servicemen of the Marine Corps of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL) as part of a battalion tactical group (BTGr) worked out loading personnel and armored personnel carriers BTR-82A onto the Saratov large landing ship (BDK) of the Black Sea Fleet ( Black Sea Fleet).

When loading military equipment, the personnel of the Black Sea Fleet landing craft worked out the organization of communication with the point of loading (unloading), approach to the shore, as well as the placement of armored personnel carriers in twin-deck BDK and the sequence of its withdrawal to the coast after transportation.

Earlier, within the framework of amphibious assault training, driver mechanics and crews of the BTR-82A improved their skills in preparing equipment for crossing water obstacles, learned to act harmoniously when performing tasks on land and afloat.

In the course of a bilateral tactical exercise, the KFL marines, with fire support from the Black Sea Fleet’s naval strike group, as well as the assault and fighter aviation of the Southern Military District, will have to land from the sea on an unequipped section of the coast, seize a bridgehead and break through the defense of a simulated enemy.

Also, during the exercise, the marines, in cooperation with motorized rifle units, will work out actions to block and destroy conditional illegal armed formations with practical parachuting of personnel.

In total, more than 500 servicemen of the KFL marines take part in the training events, about 100 units of military and special equipment are involved.
