The workers are now completing the installation of engineering networks, as well as landscaping the area around.

Reconstruction of Shosseynaya Street is completed by one third. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Urban Development Policy and Construction Andrey Bochkarev.

“As part of the construction of a new section of the South-East Expressway from Shosseinaya Street to Polbina Street, Shosseynaya Street is being reconstructed to fully integrate it into the new expressway. Almost 33 percent are ready for construction and installation work, ”the deputy mayor said.

Also, the installation of external engineering networks is almost half completed. The volume of work carried out on the improvement and landscaping of the territory is 21 percent, added Andrei Bochkarev.

In addition, at the fourth section of the South-Eastern Expressway (SEVH), work is underway to arrange the main carriageway of the future route and the reconstruction of Polbina Street has been completed, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC. “In total, five ramps and two overpasses will appear here, and installation of noise barriers and retaining walls is also expected. After the completion of all works on the section, which is scheduled for 2022, it will become an organic part of the expressway and will help unload the traditionally congested sections of the road network in the southeastern sector of the capital, ”he explained.

Thanks to the launch of traffic along the South-East Expressway, transport services to the south and south-east of the capital, as well as the TyNAO, will significantly improve.

The chord system of high-speed highways that is being formed in the capital, including the North-West, North-East, South-East expressways and the South Road, is the main project for the modern development of the capital’s road transport network. The chords will connect the peripheral districts of the capital, thereby relieving the city center, the Third Transport Ring and the Moscow Ring Road.
