The formations of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) marines began to march on vehicles from the areas where the columns were formed to the training ground as part of the ongoing bilateral brigade tactical exercise (DBRTU) in the Primorsky Territory.

In accordance with the plan of combat training of the Coastal Forces of the Pacific Fleet, two brigades of the Pacific Fleet’s marines stationed in Primorye and Kamchatka, in full force, march on equipment from positional areas to the Klerk combat training range.

Both formations were put on full alert, after which each brigade worked out measures to withdraw equipment and personnel to the areas of the formation of columns and deploy a tent camp to prepare for the march.

The Marine Corps units operating in the attack were transferred in advance by large amphibious ships of the Pacific Fleet from Kamchatka to the waiting area to prepare for the march.

In turn, the defensive marines brigade will need to ensure the protection of the sea coast from the landing of the air and sea landing of the imaginary enemy.

The commanders of the Primorsky and Kamchatka brigades of the marines do not know the plan of each other’s actions, during the DBRTU they must disrupt each other’s plans and complete the task with non-standard methods of combat.

During the active phase of the exercise, live fires will be conducted from the weapons of armored personnel carriers BTR-82A, BMP-3, 122 self-propelled howitzers “Gvozdika”, T-80BV tanks, ZSU “Shilka”, as well as from artillery mounts of Pacific Fleet ships. In addition, military and naval aviation pilots on helicopters and airplanes will practice live firing at the range.

The bilateral brigade tactical exercise of the Pacific Fleet marines will end on October 8.
