With the help of computed tomography, it is possible not only to determine the course of the course of the disease, but also to identify diseases that do not manifest clinically.

The action will take place in two state veterinary clinics from October 1. Computed tomography (CT) of any anatomical region of the animal can be done at a single price – 7686 rubles. The promotion will last two months. You can do a CT scan at the station for combating animal diseases in the North-East Administrative District and at the Krasnogvardeyskaya District Veterinary Hospital.

Today it is impossible to imagine the examination of pets without the use of high-tech equipment. With the help of CT, you can assess the state of the nervous system, brain, internal organs, blood vessels and limbs. Based on the data obtained, the veterinarian can draw a conclusion not only about the course of the development of the disease, but also diagnose a disease that does not manifest itself clinically.

This year, the number of visits for radiology diagnostics increased by an average of 14 percent compared to the same period last year. Every year, 15 thousand pet examinations are carried out in the state veterinary clinics of the capital using the methods of radiation diagnostics (X-ray and CT). Since the beginning of this year, Moscow veterinarians have conducted more than 13,000 such studies.

“It is very convenient that this examination can be carried out for absolutely any animal: from a hamster to an English mastiff. The weight specialist selects the individual level of radiation exposure. In addition, we can examine absolutely any area of the pet’s body, ”said Dmitry Domaev, a veterinarian at the Animal Disease Control Station of the North-Eastern District.

Computed tomography is prescribed when the veterinarian needs more information to determine the diagnosis and treatment. The study itself is carried out under anesthesia in order to exclude the manifestation of anxiety and fear in the animal. In this case, the anesthesiologist monitors his condition.

Detailed information on computed tomography of pets can be obtained around the clock by phone: +7 495 612-04-25. You can sign up for a study online at portal, in the mobile application “Moscow State Services” or by the above phone number.
