The revaccination of servicemen of all categories against the new coronavirus infection continues in the Baltic Fleet.

The category of revaccinated also includes civil servants of military units and naval institutions who received a full course of vaccination before January 1, 2021. Revaccination is carried out on the basis of medical institutions of the fleet, in medical centers of formations and military units, as well as at training grounds with the participation of mobile brigades of military doctors. Each soldier and civil servant gives voluntary consent to re-vaccination.

Fleet medical specialists have drawn up a schedule for revaccination of servicemen, according to which in October more than 3 thousand people will be vaccinated with the two-component vaccine Gam-COVID-Vak (Sputnik V), while vaccination of those who have not been vaccinated before will continue as planned …

The overwhelming majority of the Baltic Fleet servicemen have already been immunized, which allows them to confidently perform their military duties in a difficult epidemic situation.

As military doctors note, as a result of mass immunization of servicemen in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, collective immunity to coronavirus infection has been formed.
