In the second year of the St. Petersburg Nakhimov Naval School, under the guidance of senior educator Viktor Kyrlig and teacher-organizer Svetlana Yakovleva, events called “Russian epics” were held, timed to coincide with the 800th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Nevsky.

Nakhimovites watched a number of thematic films, and then participated in the game “At the Bogatyrskaya Outpost.” Walking along the route sheet from the outpost to the outpost, the Nakhimovites were able to try on the role of Russian vigilantes and complete game tasks: measure their strength in lifting weights, show ingenuity in solving mathematical problems on the knowledge of old Russian weight measures, guess the artists who displayed the feats of Russian heroes on canvases; match the weapon of a warrior of Ancient Rus with its name, ferry your squad across the “swamp” and much more.

At the end of the game, the Nakhimovites listened with interest to the presentation of the Nakhimovite Svyatoslav Kochurin about his personal participation in the historical reconstruction this summer during the holidays in the Tver region.
