Kamchatka specialists from the Hydrographic Service of the Pacific Fleet (PF) have begun maintenance of aids to navigation (AtoN) in Avacha Bay.

In the course of the work, light-optical devices, focusing will be checked, lamps and power sources for floating and coastal signs, automated lighthouses will be replaced.

To accomplish the task, the hydrographic vessel GS-44 will be involved and several production groups will be involved. Aids to navigation work will be carried out within a month and will be completed by the end of October.

It is planned to carry out work at 25 objects of navigation equipment in Avacha Bay, and in total more than 140 different aids to navigation equipment will be serviced in the area of ​​responsibility of Kamchatka hydrographs.
