Up to five thousand people a day will be able to get vaccinated here.

A vaccination center against coronavirus infection has opened in GUM. Its carrying capacity is up to five thousand people a day. This was reported by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development. You can get vaccinated here daily from 10:00 to 21:00.

“Each period of the development of a pandemic requires its own approach to the organization of vaccination. In the summer, when the maximum number of people needed to be vaccinated in the shortest possible time, we used all possible resources, including the Healthy Moscow pavilions and the largest vaccination center in Gostiny Dvor. Now is a different time, which requires different decisions. Today we have no need for such huge areas. But the mass vaccination continues, therefore, vaccination in GUM is resumed from today. Compared to the beginning of the year, much has changed in it. For those wishing to get vaccinated, more spacious premises have been allocated, logistics have been improved, and maximum comfort is provided. The throughput capacity of the point has also been increased, and now it will be able to receive up to five thousand patients a day, ”said the vice mayor.

The vaccination center at Gostiny Dvor is closing. Its atrium will again host exhibitions, presentations and other cultural events. During their implementation, all sanitary and epidemiological safety measures will be observed.

In GUM it will be possible to pick up a box “Taking care of health”. The gift can be received by Muscovites over 65, who will be vaccinated with the first component until December 31, 2021, and then completely complete the vaccination. The program is also open to senior citizens who have been revaccinated between June 23 and December 31, 2021.

The box includes a set of necessary things to maintain a healthy lifestyle and strengthen immunity: vitamins, blood pressure and pulse meters, a set of cosmetics for skin care, a pill box, medical masks and more. The kit can be picked up within a month after the introduction of the second component of the vaccine, by presenting the necessary set of documents: a passport, a compulsory medical insurance policy issued in Moscow, and a certificate for a gift kit (issued after the introduction of the vaccine).

In the capital, you can get vaccinated against COVID-19 on the basis of 100 city clinics. You can also get vaccinated at shopping malls and other popular urban locations.
