During the Conscript Day campaign organized by representatives of the military commissariat of the Amur Region, more than a thousand students of general education, vocational and secondary specialized educational institutions in the cities of Blagoveshchensk, Belogorsk and other settlements of the Amur Region visited military units and Patriot parks.

During the excursion, young pre-conscripts were able to see modern samples of small arms, including the newest AK-12 assault rifles with day and night aiming systems, Pecheneg machine guns, the military personnel of the compound presented modern samples of the Ratnik equipment, the newest communication means of the Aqueduct complexes and “Azart”, modern systems of electronic warfare (EW) “Lesochek”, capable of suppressing any sources of radio signals. Also, young guys saw new samples of field, everyday and sports uniforms, new types of dry rations for military personnel.

In the Belogorsk garrison of the Amur combined arms formation of the Eastern Military District (VVO), more than 200 schoolchildren of the city and Belogorsk district visited the military camp of the artillery unit.

Particular attention was paid to the life of the army and the life of the military. The schoolchildren visited the barracks and canteens of the military towns. The visitors were especially interested in the electronic registration system of servicemen eating in the canteen, as well as a large selection of cold dishes.

During the excursion in the Patriot park, the children saw both modern models of weapons and military equipment used by the Soviet and Russian armies, as well as equipment from the period of the Great Patriotic War. In the partisan village, visitors got acquainted with the elements of life and everyday life of Soviet partisans who fought against the German fascist invaders in the deep rear.
