The reorganization of the former industrial zones is united by the Industrial Quarters program.
The capital will carry out a comprehensive development of the former industrial zones Zyuzino (South-West Administrative District) and “South Port” (South-Eastern Administrative District). The corresponding decree was signed Sergei Sobyaninat a meeting of the Presidium of the Moscow Government.
The area of the former industrial zone Zyuzino is 6.76 hectares. It is located in the area of the same name between Odessa and Kerchenskaya streets (Odessa street, possessions 4-6). Nowadays, there are mainly garages, warehouses and car services.
During the reorganization of the industrial zone, they are going to build a residential quarter (almost 140 thousand square meters of housing). It will be designed for the relocation of participants renovation programs… Also, public and business facilities with a total area of at least three thousand square meters will be erected and over 1.6 thousand jobs will be created.
The project is expected to take seven years to complete. The estimated volume of investments is 13 billion rubles.
The former industrial zone “South Port” occupies 19.59 hectares. It is located in the Pechatniki district near the intersection of Volgogradsky Prospekt and Lyublinskaya Street, between Kolomnikova Street, Shosseyny Proezd and Projected Proezd No. 3723. Unprofitable business centers are now located there.
After the reorganization of the industrial zone, part of its territory will retain its industrial function – modern production facilities with an area of at least 185 thousand square meters will be built here. There will also be business and shopping centers, offices, shops, cafes with a total area of at least 100 thousand square meters, over 6.5 thousand jobs will be created.
The project will take 12 years to complete. The estimated volume of investments is 27 billion rubles.
Projects for the integrated development of territories for the reorganization of former industrial zones are united by the Industrial Quarters program. It includes Moscow industrial zones with a total area of almost two thousand hectares, which are not used for their intended purpose and are promising for development. The projected volume of investments in the implementation of the program is more than seven trillion rubles.
Thanks to this, about 500 thousand jobs will be created in Moscow, and the city budget will receive an additional three trillion rubles in tax revenues.
Agreements have already been signed on the integrated development of industrial zones Kuntsevo (area – 15.9 hectares, investments – 100 billion rubles), Oktyabrskoye Pole (area – 5.9 hectares, investments – 14 billion rubles), Korovino (two projects, total area – 40.3 hectares, investments – 45.3 billion rubles) and Altufevskoe Highway (area – 29.2 hectares, investments – 45.5 billion rubles), where it is planned to create over 23.5 thousand jobs.
