154 new houses were commissioned.

Over the four years of the renovation program, two million square meters of housing were built and commissioned in the city, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Andrey Bochkarev.

“As part of the renovation program, 154 new houses were commissioned for two million square meters of living space, of which 126 new buildings were transferred for settlement,” he said.

According to him, since the start of the program, 54.9 thousand Muscovites have been resettled from 360 old houses. Housewarming has already been celebrated by 40.4 thousand citizens.

“The construction of 150 houses with a capacity of 2.5 million square meters continues, another 150 new buildings with a capacity of 2.9 million square meters are at the design stage. 64 old houses were dismantled using smart demolition technology, ”added Andrei Bochkarev.

Results of the year: one million square meters and 10 thousand new settlers under the renovation program

The renovation program was approved in August 2017, it concerns about a million Muscovites and provides for the resettlement of 5176 houses. This year planned to build about 1.5 million square meters of housing.
