Additional land plots will be included in the boundaries of the seaport Primorsk, located in the Vyborgsky district of the Leningrad region. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

It is planned to build a universal transshipment complex and the necessary infrastructure on the new territory. The complex is designed for transshipment of coal, mineral fertilizers, containers, various cargoes and agricultural products into sea vessels. Its capacity will be 35.6 million tons per year.

The solution will contribute to the development of the port and the creation of new transshipment capacities.

The work is carried out within the framework of the federal project “Development of seaports”, which is part of the national project “Transport part of the comprehensive plan for the modernization and expansion of trunk infrastructure for the period up to 2024”.
