In the Ulyanovsk Separate Guards Airborne Assault Formation, they began to pass the final physical fitness check for 2021.

All categories of personnel undergoing military service under contract and not under dispensary medical supervision were involved in the inspection. The specialists of the platoon of the physical training instructors of the compound are taking the check.

Officers and military personnel take exercises for strength, speed, endurance, and applied military skills.

The choice of exercises is provided in accordance with the age categories of the candidates. The most popular are traditionally pull-ups on the crossbar and push-ups from the floor in a lying position. Also, officers and military personnel surrender the lift with a coup and force output on the crossbar, push-ups on the uneven bars, bench press of a 70-kilogram barbell from the chest in a prone position, as well as a snatch and jerk of a 24-kilogram kettlebell.

The speed exercises are dominated by shuttle running 10×10 meters, as well as running 60, 100, 1000, 3000 and throw march 5000 meters, which are accepted at the stadium.

The final mark is given according to the sum of the points scored in the exercises, in accordance with the “Manual on the physical training of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”.
