In the Primorsky Territory, during the active phase of a bilateral brigade tactical exercise, the marines of the Pacific Fleet (PF) made a combined landing on the coast from four large landing ships (BDK). Part of the personnel and equipment on two BDK landed in a point-blank manner, the other – on armored personnel carriers BTR-82A landed afloat.

Before the landing, the Sovershenny corvette of the Primorsky flotilla of heterogeneous forces conducted artillery fire at the fortified area of the mock enemy, and the strike aviation, consisting of a pair of Su-25 attack aircraft and Ka-52 helicopters of the Eastern Military District (VVO), carried out a fire sweep of the alleged directions of its counteroffensive.

In the episode of the amphibious assault on Cape Klerk of the Bamburovo test site, the large landing ships Oslyabya, Peresvet, Admiral Nevelskoy and Nikolai Vilkov were involved.

In accordance with the plan for combat training of the coastal forces of the Pacific Fleet, two brigades of the Pacific Fleet’s marines deployed in Primorye and Kamchatka are fully participating in a bilateral brigade tactical exercise. The commanders of the Primorsky and Kamchatka brigades, not knowing the plan of each other’s actions, during the exercise must disrupt each other’s plans with non-standard combat techniques.

In the active phase of the exercise, more than 900 units of weapons and military equipment are involved, including about 15 ships, boats and support vessels of the Pacific Fleet, as well as more than 10 aircraft and helicopters of army and naval aviation. In total, more than 5 thousand servicemen are currently playing out the main episode of the exercise.
