Kursk Regional Clinical Hospital is a multidisciplinary medical organization providing, among other things, high-tech medical care.

The hospital complex was built in 1985-1986. Today, the institution employs more than 2 thousand people, of which 88% are medical workers. Staffing with doctors – 96%, nursing staff – 95%. Specialists with higher medical education are mostly graduates of Kursk State Medical University.

The capacity of the hospital in-patient department is 960 beds. More than 26 thousand patients receive medical care here every year. The polyclinic provides admission in 25 specialties; about 400 patients seek advice every day.

The Regional Vascular Center was established on the basis of the hospital in 2009. The capacity of the department is 90 beds, 18 of them are intensive care beds. Up to 3 thousand patients can receive medical care here a year.


The government allocated funding for the construction of an infectious disease building of a hospital in the Kursk region

The construction of the infectious disease building began in January 2021. The building is designed for 232 places with the possibility of additional placement of 75 beds. At present, work is underway to insulate and clad the facade of the main building, to install internal partitions, and to install engineering systems and external networks. The main medical equipment will be delivered to the facility in October this year. The technical readiness of the infectious corps is 45%. The opening of the covid branch is scheduled for November 15, 2021.
