The crew of the rescue tugboat (sb) “Captain Guryev” from the squadron of the rescue ships of the Novorossiysk Naval Base of the Black Sea Fleet is returning to Sevastopol after completing missions in the Persian Gulf.

Currently, the crew of the rescue ship passed the Suez Canal, entered the Mediterranean Sea and headed for the Black Sea straits of the Dardanelles and the Bosphorus.

The tugboat of the Black Sea Fleet provided the national team of the Russian Navy during its participation in the international diving all-around competition “Depth-2021”, which was held in the port of Konarak, Islamic Republic of Iran in August this year.

The return of the Kapitan Guriev shipyard to the base is expected in the second decade of October 2021.

For the third time, the Islamic Republic of Iran has hosted the Glubina international diving all-around competition on the territory of its country as part of the ARMI-2021.

The first place in the “Depth” competition, in terms of the amount of points scored, was shared by the Russian Navy and Iranian Navy teams, the second place was taken by a team from China, and the third place was taken by the Syrian Navy team. The competition was attended by teams of military divers from six countries: Russia, Venezuela, Iran, India, China and Syria.
