One exhibition space contains more than 230 items from the largest military-historical collections of Russia, private collections illustrating different epochs in the history of primary military education in Russia from the 18th to the 21st centuries.

At the exhibition you can see the uniform of a pupil of the 1st Cadet Corps of 1850-55, which belonged to the Grand Duke Nikolai Alexandrovich (the eldest son of Emperor Alexander II), the cap and overcoat of the pupil of the 1st Cadet Corps, which belonged to Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich, cadet weapons of the 19th century, shoulder straps of pupils of Russian cadet corps during the Civil War and emigration, shoulder straps and insignia of pupils of the Suvorov and Nakhimov schools of the USSR from 1943 to the 1980s, sets of uniforms for cadet corps of modern Russia, rare documents and photographs, paintings by masters of the Studio of military artists named after M. B. Grekov.

The Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation presented at the exhibition three sets of uniforms from its collection: a student of the Moscow Military Music School (dress uniform of 1969), a student of the Nakhimov Naval School (everyday uniform No. 3 of 1951) and a student of the First Moscow named after Grand Duke Dmitry Donskoy Cadet Corps (1990s). The exhibition will run until December 20, 2021.
