Residents have already invested over 49 billion rubles in their projects and created over eight thousand jobs.

Last year, 22 high-tech enterprises received the status of a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

“This year, nine more companies have joined the technological community of the capital’s SEZ, which will develop the production of electric transport, medical supplies, produce equipment for ropeways, provide data storage, create software, including in the field of energy saving. The declared volume of investments of new residents exceeds 10 billion rubles, and production plans provide for the creation of almost a thousand jobs, ”the Deputy Mayor said.

The most numerous industry segment in the capital’s SEZ is the microelectronics cluster. It brings together over 30 residents.

“For the entire period of activity, the revenue of the residents of this cluster has exceeded 84 billion rubles, and the number of highly qualified jobs created by them is approaching one and a half thousand. Manufacturers of microcircuits, chips, digital tags and other products of the microelectronic industry provide the bulk of products manufactured in the Moscow Technopolis. So, in the first half of 2021, they accounted for 56 percent of all products produced in the SEZ. They are also leading this year in the field of foreign trade: in the first six months of the cluster enterprises provided almost 70 percent of the total export volume, selling goods abroad in the amount of 365.7 million rubles, ”said the head

The special economic zone of Moscow is constantly evolving, offering innovative businesses a variety of accommodation formats – from renting finished premises to providing space for the construction of industrial enterprises.

“The advantages of the capital’s SEZ are attracting more and more new investors who undergo a rigorous selection process: the effectiveness of their projects and the relevance of products for the city are assessed. Residents, in turn, are exempt from payment of property, transport, land tax, customs duties. The income tax rate for them is only two percent. There are also privileges for land lease, and upon completion of the construction of the facility, it is possible to buy out the leased land plot for one percent of its cadastral value, ”said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moskva SEZ.

The Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone consists of five industrial areas with a total area of ​​223.3 hectares. One of them is located in Pechatniki, the rest: “Mikron”, “MIET”, “Angstrem” and “Alabushevo” – in Zelenograd.

For six months of this year, residents of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis” Moscow “by 1.7 times increased production volumes compared to the same period in 2020. The total amount of manufactured goods and services rendered amounted to 10.2 billion rubles. In addition, in the first half of the year, over 800 new jobs were created at the enterprises of the Moscow Technopolis.
