In the interests of the Ground Forces, development work is underway aimed at the development of promising robotic systems of heavy and middle class.
In this development work, the issue of integrated control of ground and air robotic systems will be worked out due to the functioning of the software and hardware complex of robotization: receiving, processing and transmitting reconnaissance information using UAVs to a ground control point for combat robotic complexes.
At SSU “West-2021” for the first time in battle formations were used robotic complexes robotic complexes “Uran-9” and “Nerekhta”. They were entrusted with the tasks of practicing individual tactical episodes in terms of reconnaissance and defeat of the enemy. With their armament (30-mm automatic cannon, machine gun, anti-tank guided missiles), all detected targets in the exercise were hit. The RTK was controlled by operators located at control points at a distance of 1.5 km, where they monitored the defeat of a simulated enemy in real time.
