In the Black Sea Fleet, the training camp with young officers-graduates of higher military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in 2021, which was held under the leadership of the fleet commander, Admiral Igor Osipov, ended.

During the 3-day training camp, about 300 young officers took part in demonstration events aimed at acquiring the skills of graduates to conduct combat training events and daily activities during military service.

Gathering of young lieutenants who joined the ship formations took place on board the guards missile cruiser “Moscow” and the frigate “Admiral Makarov”. On board the ships, flagship specialists from various combat units of the Black Sea Fleet, including navigational, mine-torpedo, electro-mechanical, radio-technical, missile weapons and communications, conducted master classes on inspecting the ship’s materiel and technical means.

The training camp of young lieutenants who replenished the coastal formations and military units of the Black Sea Fleet took place at the combat training range of the coastal defense brigade of the Angarsky army corps. In the field, experienced officers taught the lieutenants in tactical, firepower and other basic combat training subjects. Also, the methodology of conducting classes with personnel was shown, the organization and procedure for carrying out guard and internal service were brought up.

The training camp ended with a check on the level of physical training of young officers.
