The marines and reconnaissance officers of the Baltic Fleet make jumps in various altitudes – from 600 to 1200 meters from the An-26 military transport aircraft and Mi-8 helicopters of the naval aviation of the fleet. At the same time, a group of up to 30 people is disembarking. In the course of airborne training, servicemen practice their landing skills in full combat gear and with standard weapons.

The airborne training of the personnel of the reconnaissance and marines of the Baltic Fleet is planned in such a way that each soldier makes at least two parachute jumps during the training period. Practical performance of parachute jumps will last until the end of November.
