A unique exhibition has begun in the Eastern Military District. Its exhibits were presented in the foyer of the city physical culture and sports complex of the city of Ulan-Ude. From October 14 to 20, the mobile exhibition will be deployed in Chita, then from October 23 to October 28 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, from October 31 to November 7 in Khabarovsk, from November 11 to 20 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, from November 25 to 1 December in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, from December 6 to 13 in Vladivostok.

The traveling exhibition features exhibits from the expeditionary center and the Department of Culture of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In addition, the exhibition includes copies of the diaries of great Russian travelers and posters prepared by representatives of the Russian Geographical Society, with materials on the contribution of the Russian Geographical Society to the study of the European part of Russia, the Urals, Siberia, and the Far East.

Visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with mock-ups of spacecraft, equipment, onboard food and personal belongings of astronauts, a capsule for sending animals into space. Also exhibited are models of ships, unique photographic materials and documents.

The first to get acquainted with the exhibits were the servicemen of the tank formation of the Eastern Military District, the Yunarmeys and veterans.
