The regions of the Central Federal District (CFD) were asked to identify projects aimed at increasing indicators of socio-economic development of territories, as well as key issues, the solution of which will have a positive impact on the dynamics of these indicators. The issue was discussed at a meeting with representatives of the regions of the Central Federal District, which was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Government Staff, curator of the Central Federal District Dmitry Grigorenko.

The Institute for Supervision of Federal Districts was created by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in July 2021, the corresponding responsibilities were assigned to the Deputy Prime Ministers. Dmitry Grigorenko has been appointed responsible for the Central Federal District.

Curators will have to pay special attention to the growth of incomes of the population, the number of people employed in the entrusted territories, an increase in the volume of investments, the production of goods and services in basic types of economic activity.

“The decision made does not mean tightening control, does not break the existing management system, but supplements it with fine tuning of work,” Dmitry Grigorenko stressed.
