In the hero city of Sevastopol, on the basis of the Black Sea Higher Naval School named after P.S. Nakhimov, the Russian Navy Championship in summer officer triathlon was held. It was attended by 9 teams from all fleets, several naval universities and training centers. In total, 52 officers took part in the championship, including 6 from the North Sea. They competed in long-distance running from 1000 to 3000 kilometers, swimming and shooting from a Makarov pistol.

The competitions were held in three age groups: up to 30 years old, from 30 years old to 40 years old and over 40 years old.

The most successful all-round athletes were the Baltic officers, slightly ahead of the representatives of the Northern Fleet, who took the overall command second place.

Nevertheless, in the individual championship, the champions in their age groups in individual disciplines became: Lieutenant Daniil Stepovoy from a separate shipborne fighter aviation regiment of the Northern Fleet, who ran 3000 m with a score of 10 minutes 2 seconds and Major Vladimir Paketa from the Northern Fleet communications center, who distinguished himself in shooting from pistol Makarov.

Captain Alexander Golosov and Lieutenant Anatoly Karnaukhov from the units of the Kola Air Defense Force of the Northern Fleet completed the Master of Sports of Russia standard in military sports all-around. They also took second place in the individual championship among officers of their age.

In total, in 2021, at competitions of various levels, seven officers of the Northern Fleet became masters of sports of Russia in military sports all-around, and five more became candidates for master of sports.
