Since the beginning of the year, Moscow has allocated more than 86 hectares of land for the implementation of 77 large-scale investment projects. Industrial enterprises, sports and recreation centers, social facilities and transport hubs (TPU) will appear on these sites in different parts of the city, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations. Large-scale investment projects have been implemented in the capital since 2016. For them, the city provides land on lease without bidding for a period of six years. Decisions are taken at a meeting of the City Planning and Land Commission under the leadership of Sergei Sobyanin.

“A large-scale investment project is a special form of cooperation between the city and business. Such projects can be industrial complexes and innovation centers, healthcare facilities and transport infrastructure – those that allow creating modern infrastructure and new jobs in Moscow, ”the deputy mayor said.

According to him, most of these projects – 23 – are being implemented in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas, 10 in the north of Moscow, nine in the southeast, eight in the east, six in the west, five in the northeast, and four in the center , in the south and northwest, three in the southwest and one in Zelenograd.

More than 11 hectares were allocated for 12 industrial facilities, 34 more plots were allocated by the city for the construction of multifunctional centers, as well as social, transport and engineering infrastructure.

“Sports facilities prevail among 77 large-scale investment projects for which the city has allocated land since the beginning of 2021 (19). New objects of different formats will appear at eight transport hubs. For them, Moscow has allocated more than 10 hectares of land. For example, on the territory of TPU “Aminevskoe shosse” a multifunctional complex with underground parking will be built, and on the territory of TPU “Pechatniki” – a shopping and entertainment complex.
