The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, made a working trip to the Pacific Fleet from October 8 to 10 to check the results of the training of forces and troops in the outgoing academic year and to organize the activities of the Pacific Fleet in the coming academic year.

The working trip of the commander-in-chief and the accompanying working group of admirals and officers of the High Command of the Navy began with units and formations of the Pacific Fleet stationed in Kamchatka. Then Admiral Nikolai Evmenov flew to Vladivostok, where the control check of the Pacific Fleet forces was continued until October 10.

The plan of the working trip of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy provided for checking the work of the command personnel of all links in the surface, submarine, coastal and air components of the Pacific Fleet. Also, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov checked the development of the infrastructure for the integrated basing of the forces of the Pacific Fleet and paid special attention to the process of training ship commanders.

“The Pacific Fleet is performing critical tasks in its operational area of ​​responsibility. Pacific sailors receive new equipment, ships and submarines. The process of equipping the Pacific Fleet and the development of its coastal infrastructure will continue, ”the commander-in-chief said.
