The section “Active Citizen for Children” will be regularly updated with new excerpts from the books of applicants for the Korney Chukovsky Prize.
Project participants “Active citizen” can get acquainted with excerpts from prose and poetic works submitted for competition Moscow Government awards named after Korney Chukovsky.
In chapter “Active Citizen for Children”New videos are regularly released in which actors, musicians, writers, publishers and artists read stories, fairy tales and poems for children.
The portal now contains 10 new works, which are included in a long list of nominees for the awards. The section will be regularly updated with works by children’s writers. This is a joint project of the “Active Citizen” Department of Cultureand the operator of the literary competition – the Central Library System of the EAO.
The shortlist of nominees will be announced on October 20. On this day, voting will begin on the Active Citizen platform, in which Muscovites will choose the winner in the nomination “The best work for children in the opinion of readers”. Last year, the project participants recognized the book “Our Earth – Breathes” by Evgenia Basova as the best. Then in voting138.4 thousand users took part.
Project “Active citizen”appeared in 2014. In seven years, more than five million people have joined it, of which almost two million will be in 2020. Participants decide which streets, courtyards and parks need to be improved, how city clinics, libraries, multifunctional centers should work, and also choose events for festivals and celebrations. Since the start of the project, Muscovites have taken part in more than five thousand votes. Decisions supported by a majority vote are implemented in the city.
