A procurement campaign is coming to an end in the penitentiary institutions of the region. The staff and convicts have already procured 196 tons of carrots, 166 tons of beets, 86 tons of cabbage. In addition, the institutions of the GUFSIN procured more than 6200 tons of potatoes. This amount will be enough to feed the convicts and plant a seed fund.

In difficult weather conditions, there is a struggle for grain and leguminous crops. More than 2 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have already been threshed, including: 969 tons of wheat, 612 tons of barley, 441 tons of oats, 25 tons of winter rye, and 15 tons of peas.

More than 9 thousand tons of green mass for silage and green conveyor, 2 thousand tons of pressed hay and 342 tons of pressed straw were procured for feed for farm animals.

All the necessary resources are in place to successfully complete the harvest campaign. In the agricultural sector, GUFSIN uses 75 tractors, 38 units of trucks and more than 20 units of trailed and attached equipment. More than 300 convicts are involved in field work.

The main task today is to harvest the crop without losses and put it in high-quality storage.
