Joint crews of Mi-35 helicopters have worked out tactical methods of combat use against ground targets at the range as part of the BARS-2021 joint Russian-Serbian tactical flight exercise.

During the flights, army aviation pilots performed combat launches of unguided missile weapons from various types of maneuvers, including a turn on a hill, a turn on a hill, and a dive.

The crews operated at low altitudes from 200 to 400 meters singly and as part of a pair.

In addition, the flight crew worked out escape from attacks by fighters and portable anti-aircraft missile systems of the imaginary enemy, performing maneuvers in the air, changing the course and altitude, turns, flying with a roll and snake, as well as covering aircraft.

Joint Russian and Serbian crews on MiG-29 aircraft and Mi-8 and Mi-35 helicopters are taking part in the BARS-2021 exercise.

As part of the exercise, the flight crew will work out combat maneuvering and air combat as part of a pair, performing attacks on low-speed targets on MiG-29 fighters; landing and evacuation of subunits in distress, complex aerobatics, combat use and other tasks as intended on Mi-8 and Mi-35 helicopters.

The tactical flight exercise “BARS-2021” is being held in accordance with the plan of international military cooperation.

It involves about 10 units of aviation equipment of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Serbia.
