Today, Colonel-General Yevgeny Burdinsky, Head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, visited the military commissariat of the Perovsky District of the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, where he held a personal reception of citizens.

As part of his working trip, Colonel-General Yevgeny Burdinsky heard the military commissar of the city of Moscow, Major-General of the reserve Viktor Shchepilov, and the military commissar of the Perovsky district of the capital, Colonel Roman Romanichev, about the progress of the autumn draft for military service in the area of ​​responsibility of the regional territorial unit of the city military enlistment office. He assessed the level of compliance with the barrier measures taken at the military commissariat in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, examined the doctors’ offices in which the specialists of the military medical commission work, and inquired about the state of health of the conscripts.

During a personal reception, for which 11 citizens signed up, Colonel-General Yevgeny Burdinsky talked with the conscripts and their parents, giving clarifications on the essence of the issues that worried them. Most of the appeals concerned the possibility of choosing a place of service, including in the Presidential Regiment, sports and scientific companies, in the Marine Corps. Future defenders of the Motherland were interested in the organization of food for conscripts, issues of military service in accordance with the specialty received, the delivery of young people to the place of service, as well as the recommended list of personal belongings that the conscript has the right to take with him to the recruiting station.

Concluding the personal reception of citizens, the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation spoke about the implementation of the program of the Ministry of Defense to optimize the work and improve the material base of military commissariats. As practical measures, supplies of new office equipment, modern communication systems and high-comfort vehicles for the transportation of conscripts are envisaged. Also, work is underway to create a unified electronic database of citizens called up for military service.
