This year, 328 works from 47 regions of Russia were submitted to the competition.

Four projects of the winners of the Moscow competition “Budget for Citizens” became prize-winners of the federal stage of the competition dedicated to budget literacy this year.

The first place in the nomination “Best Budget Video” was won by Maria Sharapova, a teacher at the Moscow Pedagogical College No. 10. The highest step of the pedestal was shared with her by the teachers of the Moscow School No. 656 named after A.S. Makarenko, becoming the winners in the nomination “The best event-event under the project” Budget for Citizens “. The project of the students of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, German Lyubaturov and Olga Teteneva, was awarded the second place in the category “Budget and national development goals of the Russian Federation”. In the same nomination, the third place was won by Oksana Ermolaeva, chief specialist of financial management analysis of the Financial Department of the Administration of the Municipal Formation of the Orenburg District of the Orenburg Region.

Three more winners of the Moscow competition “Budget for Citizens” were awarded certificates of participants in the all-Russian stage. This is a student of the school № 656 named after A.S. Makarenko Anastasia Vrublevskaya (nomination “Budget for Citizens in Pictures”), student of Don State Technical University Victoria Kravchenko (nomination “Budget and Emergencies”) and student of school No. 1280 Daria Slotina (nomination “Best Information Panel (Dashboard) on the Budget for Citizens “).

The All-Russian competition of projects “Budget for Citizens” has been held for nine years. Its goal is to increase the level of budget literacy of the residents of Russia. The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Finance of Russia and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The competition is held in two rounds separately among individuals and legal entities in different nominations.

This year, 328 works from 47 regions were submitted to the competition. Among the contenders for the victory were the works of the participants of the Moscow competition “Budget for Citizens”. For eight years it has been organized by Moscow Department of Finance.
