The National Congress is a platform where representatives of business, public organizations, financial institutions, growth institutions and government bodies annually discuss the development of the domestic economy and social sphere.

One of the key topics of the current congress was the transformation of enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the context of the digital economy.

During the discussion, Vyacheslav Shport informed the congress participants about the support measures and the steps taken by the board of the military-industrial complex to solve the problem of diversifying the defense industry organizations in order to increase the production of domestic high-tech civilian products both for the domestic market and for export.

According to the results of the past year, the implementation of 778 projects became a tangible result of the work on the implementation of diversification developments by the organizations of the military-industrial complex, and the share of civilian products in the total volume of production at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex amounted to 25.6% against 24.1% in 2019. According to the results of the auction, the share of domestic products in state and municipal purchases of goods as of August 2021 increased to 60.9% (55.6% in 2020).

“Such dynamics is the result of systemic measures, including the updating of regulatory and legal acts,” noted Vyacheslav Shport. – Under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov, federal laws No. 249-FZ and 250-FZ were developed and adopted in July 2020, which amended 44-FZ and 223-FZ, which gave the Government the right to establish the minimum share of purchases of Russian products. Based on the results of the work of the National Congress, proposals for the further development of the processes of mastering and increasing the production of industrial goods with the sign “Made in Russia” will be sent to the government authorities.
