In addition to the place of extinguishing the fire, an airmobile group of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Sverdlovsk Region arrived in the amount of 30 people.

In addition, the number of peat shafts has been increased to 26. Work to extinguish the smoldering peat bog continues.

The efforts of the firefighters are focused on extinguishing the foci hidden under the surface. The decay of scattered foci with a total area of 4.8 hectares persists.

Specialists of the EMERCOM of Russia note that a faint smell of burning persists even in the prevailing weather conditions due to large temperature drops during the day, as well as a high saturation of the upper soil layers with moisture in the area of peat-bog extinguishing, with a high probability it is possible to predict the appearance of dense fog in the south of Yekaterinburg on the morning of October 15th.

In total, a group of 88 people, 26 units of special equipment, are involved in the spilling of the peat bog. In the near future, the group is planned to be increased by specialists from the Ural base of forest aviation protection.
