In Kamchatka, an exercise was held with combat crews of the Bal and Bastion coastal anti-ship missile systems (APMS) of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet), during which the military personnel worked out the withdrawal of military equipment from a massive missile strike. The event took place as part of a control check.

During the exercise, the “Bal” and “Bastion” battalions of the BKRK have worked out an algorithm of actions to use the coastal complexes as intended. When changing positions, air defense crews discovered many small-sized high-speed air targets identified as a massive missile strike from surface ships of a mock enemy.

The military personnel of the missile systems complied with the standards for phasing out launchers and for redeploying to a safe area, where they deployed equipment for reuse. The missilemen met the specified standards and successfully completed combat training missions.

More than 400 missilemen and about 30 units of military and special equipment are involved in the exercise.
